If you already using our 1st generation tools XorMon Original, LPAR2RRD and STOR2RRD you might want to migrate data from them to XorMon NG.

Device definition

You can export LPAR2RRD and STOR2RRD devices definitions (include name, IP, user access) and import them into XorMon NG for fast start up.
Follow this procedure.


Generally you can run XorMon NG and our 1st gen tools (LPAR2RRD, STOR2RRD, XorMon Original) simultaneously to monitoring same devices.
Then you collect new data in XorMon NG and you can start to use XorMon NG as the primary platform as soon as you want (have enough of collected data history).

License migration

If you are already our customer and using enterprise edition of our 1st gen tools (LPAR2RRD, STOR2RRD, XorMon Original) then XorMon NG license is covered by your existing service support contract for the same environment size, no extra fee.
There 2 months trial period after initial XorMon NG installation. No any restrictions, it is switched to the free edition after expiration.
Let us know before the trial expiration for the license, we will provide it to you.
